=Name= Gatsu (Also known as the Black Swordsman whispered in rumors, and the Dark Hawk among the scripts and texts of the church)
=Age= Unknown, between the ages of 20-35
=Race= Human
=Sex= Male
=Sexuality= Straight
=Alignment= Chaotic Neutral
=Status= Wandering Swordsman
=Height= Estimated around 6'5"
=Weight= Unknown
=Eyes= One shut (gouged out by a demon) Left Eye- Brown
=Hair= Short, black, and spikey
=Complexion= Slightly tan.
=Appearance= Has a large, muscled physique. Dressed in a tattered black cloak, and darkened, blackened metal armor, called the armor of the Berserker. A belt of 5 throwing knives is strapped across his chest. Is never seen without his gigantic sword, which is as tall, and about half as wide as him.A tall, muscular male with a huge sword called the Dragon Slayer along with a prosthetic left forearm that has a magnetic grip and also conceals a cannon.

ersonality= He can be quite simple-minded and basic when it comes to dealing with emotions and decisions. His life was destined for fatality, as he was born from a cadaverous hanging corpse. Japanese myth: those whom are born from the dead, are cursed beings, this prove to be true for Gatsu. He was raised as a mercenary by a man named Gambino. Later, he was forced to join the band of the hawk after losing a battle with Griffith. His life is full of tragedy since the day he was birthed. He tends to battle through a slew of countless barbarous battles. Yet, he gains nothing, only headstrong blood-thirst. He is however, a dynamic fighter, being the main crucial difference, the trump card, the strategic deciding factor of winning or losing a battle. He alone slain a hundred man brigade. He then dissatisfied with mere battling, seeks others as guides, as to what he should do in life, having no real motivation and dreams of his own rather then being told what like a mechanical machine. He has survived to most of horrific battles, he proved it time and time again that he is a survivor. He admires Griffith in some ways , using him as his motivator. He was loyal to Griffith, and it wasn’t until after Griffith made his philosophy about how he looks down upon people like Gatsu and doesn’t consider them a friend. Gatsu took it to heart, though not realizing it, but again, basing his life on someone else’s’s philosophy, never coming to the decision to leave on his own. He left Griffith after he wins a duel with him for his freedom. He’s bull-headed and reacts without thinking things completely through, which ends up causing him more trouble. However Gatsu is quite mature, he can take verbal abuse and doesn’t get violent to defend him self. He does like to maul things over like the mystery surrounding Griffith unique nature. Still, act impulsively at what he believes is the right decisions
==Story== (Or something along the lines of...))
Born from a corpse, Gatsu was raised in a mercenary camp, looking up to the leader, Gambino. Over time, Gatsu became a better swordsman, and mercenary, until one batte, Gambino was rendered lame, with his leg cut off. Gambino, spiraling down into liqour and madness, one night tried to kill Gatsu. Retaliating, Gatsu killed Gambino, and fled from the mercenary camp. Over several years of his life, he went from battle to batle, being a mercenary for hire. One day, a group of mercenaries, the fabled Band of the Hawk, was camping near a road that Gatsu was traveling. A few of the members decided to attack him, and he easily disposed of them. Soon, the second in command, a beautiful woman named Caska, came to the aid of her allies, also being defeated by the lone mercenary. Finally, their leader, the the intelligent, masterful, and beautiful man Griffith caim to their aid, disaibling Gatsu. They took the injured Gatsu back to their camp, and healed him, where then he became a member of the Hawks, slowly proving is worth in their cause by killing countless enemy soldiers. In one battle, he and Caska are trapped among a battalion of 100 enemy soldiers, and he slays the entire troupe, with much damage to his body, to let Caska get away. Though he doesnt admit it, he has immense feelings for Caska, but knows that Caska only has feelings for Griffith. The Hawks themselves slowly gained nortority as their wins spread to the land of Midland, and thier king granted the all the memebrs of the Hawks nobility. But Gatsu wasnt happy...he wanted to be the equal of Griffith, and so he left the Hawks, driving Griffith insane. After several years of lone training in the mountains, and fighting the strongest people he could find, Gatsu hears rumor of a band of thieves, named the Band of the Hawk, lead by a female leader...his former equal and commander Caska. Helping the Hawks defend themselves from a band of attackers, he shows his colours again, Gatsu, one of their commanders, back to the rescue. Caska, not forgiving Gatsu of driving Griffith mad, challenges him to a duel. In the midst of the duel she cries out, blaming Gatsu for everything..and leaving her alone. Gatsu, unaware at Caska's own feelings, ends the duel by letting her stab him in the shoulder. Through the night, they admit they are in love, and make love, acknowledging that they finally want to be together. But all is not so well...Griffith, they have found out, was being tourtured for the past two years in the King of Midland's dungeon. Gatsu, Caska, and a few other members of the Hawk decide to rescue him. After a quick rescue break and close call, the Hawks finally manage a look at Griffith...a mere shadow of the man he was. His tounge had been cut out, his tendons slashed, and his body weak and frail. No longer was he the one who could lead the Hawks to victory. Griffith himself realizes this, and attempts to kill himself. The only thing stopping Griffith from dieing, is a small...wierd pendant...called the Behelit...which he had kept with him since he was a child. Griffith tried to impale himself on a broken piece of wood...his blood dripping down on the Behelit...and summoning the Eclipse...a dark festival of summoned demons. The four demons leading the Eclipse tell Griffith he is the 5th memeber of the God Hand, the ruling demons...and all he simply need to do was to sacrafice all his allies, and such a thing...power beyond his dreams, could be real.
Power hungry, and angered at the shape of his body, Griffith agrees, and all the members of the Band of the Hawk are magically branded with the Brand of Sacrafice, a magical brand that summons legions of evil spirits. Soon, the slaughter commences, as hordes of demons consume the Hawks. Caska, the only female member, catches the attention of the demons, and is raped, before Gatsu's own eyes. In a rage unparralled at his love's rape before him, Gatsu breaks off a demon's horn, and goes on a rampage, killing demons left and right before finally, his arm is bitten by yet another demon, and its teeth sink into his flesh, holding him in place.
The new, demonized Griffith--now calling himself Femto, appears in front of Gatsu, taunting him, and raping Caska before his eyes. Caska begs, and pleads, her strenght sapped from her, as yet again Gatsu's rage surfaces, as he stabs off his own left arm with a broken sword. The demon holding his arm grabs his head and slams Gatsu down, gouging out his right eye in the process, as Griffith smiles down to Gatsu and drops Caska before him...
A lone rider comes into the eclipse, a Skeleton...dressed as a Knight, and rescues both Gatsu and Caska, taking them to a safe place. The SkullKnight explains to Gatsu what had happened, that a new era of darkness was ushered in...Upon healing, Gatsu wakes up at the blacksmith who forged his sword's house, and finds Caska to be insane, scared, and have no recognition of Gatsu, their love, or anything at all. Her mind has reverted to that of a child, and this itself is the source of Gatsu's great sadness...Caka, giving birth shortly after, birthed a hellish monstrosity. It was the child of Gatsu and Caska, but tainted with the evil of Femto. As Gatsu tried to kill it, the child fled. Not understanding why Gatsu tried to kill her child, the crazy Caska attacked Gatsu. Enraged at Griffith, Gatsu looks for ways of revenge...The blacksmith offers anything from his armory that Gatsu wants...and Gatsu looks inside...seeing a giant blade..a mechanical arm...and means...for revenge on the demons..and especially...on Griffith....
After departing from the smith's house for more than two years, he returns, only to find the mentally incapacitated Caska gone, whom ran away. Following rumors and trails to Albion, a church capitol int he western lands, Gatsu and Caska are caught up in a witch hunt, which ended up in Caska being proclaimed a witch and sent for immediate execution. Showing the curses of God, or 'miracles' in the eyes of the church, Gatsu makes companions with the leader of the Vatican's Holy Iron Chain Knights, Farnese, and her secret half brother Serpico, and a small boy with aspirations of being the greatest swordsman ever, Isidro. Through the rescue of Caska, events spawn that lead up to another eclipse. Thousands of refugees became sacrafices as Griffith is reborn into a human body, the body ofl Gatsu and Caska's child.
Not knowing where to go, Gatsu and the gang travel towards Elfheim, where Puck, another companion they picked up on the way, called home. It is supposed that the Elf King can restore Caska's mental state...but how? Entering a large forest, the band was attacked by trolls, where Gatsu disposes of some, but another young girl, Shireke, joins their party. She, a sorceress, saves them many times with her magic, until finally, they first return to Shireke's home, a grand tree-embedded house in the middle of the forest.
But they return not to happiness. The house is burning and demons are attacking Flora, Shireke's mistress. Gatsu leads out, attacking the demons, with little futility. The rest of the band goes to the basement, via the dying Flora's instructions, and pulls the covers off of an old set of armor lying in the corner. Gatsu, being bashed through the wall, happens to land at the base of the armor, bleeding severly, and broken. Setting the armor to himself, he gasps, then finds that there is no pain...how could this be?
The Berserker's armor surpasses the human limit of pain, allowing for a depth of stamina and strenght that is viewed inhuman. When bones are broken, or limbs torn, the armor pierces the flesh to support bone, letting the combatant literally fight until he bleeds to death, in a swirl of rage.

Gatsu (Again, another sorta profile thingy, a bit updated^^)
Gatsu is a tragic hero; he is born as one who may be able to struggle against Causality, but seemingly unable to affect it on a large scale. Gatsu had turbulent childhood and adolescence in a mercenary band after reluctantly being adopted by the band's leader Gambino at the behest of Gambino's lover, Shizu, and his subsequent joining of, and departure from, the Band of the Hawk After the events of the Eclipse, in which he loses his left forearm and right eye, Gatsu seeks revenge on Griffith (now Femto). Upon doing so, he is subsequently reunited with Caska after two years separation. After the Incarnation Ceremony at Albion, Gatsu now travels with a new group of companions. He currently possesses the Berserker's Armor, an ancient, cursed suit of armor that allows the wearer to overcome his physical and mental boundaries in combat. Doing so damages his body and allows his inner beast, a feral dog-like demon, to take over and endanger everyone in the vicinity, friend or foe.
Griffith
Griffith is the founder and leader of the mercenary army Band of the Hawk. Extraordinarily charismatic and handsome, his tactical skill gives him and his army the reputation of invincibility, making him the favoured choice of the Midland King, who was locked in a century long war with the Empire of Tudor. Griffith is willing to sacrifice everything for his dream of his own kingdom, believing that he is destined for things greater than the average man. After he won the war for Midland, he lost a duel to Gatsu in an attempt to keep Gatsu under his influence, which led to Gatsu' departure from The Hawks. Stunned and feeling betrayed, Griffith sought comfort in a one-night stand with the king's daughter, and only heir to the throne, Princess Charlotte. The affair was discovered, after which Griffith was imprisoned and tortured for a year. He was rescued by the primary members of The Hawks, but was already physically crippled and mentally broken. In his despair of losing his dream because of Gatsu' influence, he was driven to a state of madness that coincided with both the reappearance of his lost Beherit, and a solar eclipse. The God Hand appeared, and he sacrificed the Band of the Hawk to them to become the fifth and final God Hand: Femto. Only Caska, Gatsu and Rickert, who was outside the Occultation, survived, all having been rescued by the Skull Knight. Two years later, Griffith was reincarnated in the city of Albion; he now leads a newly formed Band of the Hawk, still in pursuit of his dream to obtain a kingdom, only now he has sanction from 'God'.
Caska
Caska was the only female soldier in the original Band of the Hawk and is behind only Griffith and Gatsu in swordsmanship. Her ambivalent relationship to both of them makes her moody and capricious. Caska joins the Band of the Hawk after Griffith saves her from a sexual assault by a nobleman. After Griffith is imprisoned, she becomes the leader of the Band of the Hawk and, along with Gatsu, leads the mission to rescue Griffith. The trauma of the Eclipse, especially her rape at Femto's hands, has cost Caska her memory. In addition to being Gatsu' lover, she also gave birth to a child, which had become tainted by Femto's rape. During her travel with Gatsu, the strain of watching over her in her state and fighting against evil spirits for nights on end drove a possessed Gatsu to succumb to his inner beast and nearly rape her. Due to this, she now detests Gatsu and has found comfort in the only adult female traveling with them: Farnese. Caska travels with them completely oblivious to her surroundings, with Gatsu and company keeping close watch over her. Caska's well being is the driving force for Gatsu to keep himself from reverting back to a revenge-obsessed wanderer. It has been revealed outside the city of Vritanis that her mental state may be cured at their final destination, Elfhelm, by the King of the Flower Storm.
